well didnt have time to pen(type) down my thoughts last night. going out with Hui Shi and Gracia really opened my eyes to see how blessed i am to have them since young. We have been growing up together from primary 2? yeah and i suppose that most of the time we take it forgranted that we have sisters in Christ walking and growing with you all the way in the same church. Brothers is another thing altogether even though we have been in the same class for so many years, however both partied has never made an effort to bridge the gap between the sexes. yeah. it really would be nice if one day the whole sec 3 group was one big happy family haha. Thank God for Fellowship!!! PTL!!!
anyways the baptism class was indeed an eye opener for me in the sense that i was able to know more about what TPBC thought about certain aspects. it was too long a session i would say but never mind about that.
had COL. Png today again talking about God's promises to Isreal and how he would deliever them out of misery. When you listen to him talk, or in this case me, i soak in everything that he spoke about, hungry for more. never have i been so interested in a message before that i ignore what is happening around me. i was overjoyed when Uncle Jit Meng said that Col. png would be coming back next week to talk about Europe and what the Bible has to say about her.
Praise the Lord!!! it has been my desire and prayer for 4 years that CS and Jas would be able to come to church and they did!!! you won't be able to comprehend how happy i am to see fellow Christians come together to worship the Lord and listen to his people.Pray that they will continue to grow strong in Him and hunger to know him more.
had Bible Study after that and learnt and experienced a different perspective on how and why Jesus died for us. it has never ever occurred to me all the sins he had to carry for us. really every single sin that we have in this corrupt world. Just for us, God was willing to sacrifice his SON and 'disown' him. How thankful we should be to our Father. Had private time with Joyce talking about everything and anything. i thanks God for her as my mentor. Hope that when i become a leader to others i would be as patient and understanding as her. and to have the fear of the Lord.
