And proud to be one.ok here goes my thank you list...SFers for the card that i've already posted up..[i know theres more to come including my fireworks *gleams*]Norman for the card you painstakingly wrote. It took me sometime to figure out why the handwriting was so messy but when it did it made the card a lot more nicer =) thanksMom and Dad- thanks for the great dinner we've had on sunday at the seafood resturant and for the acoustic guitar thats promised [havent had the time to scout for a good one] and lots more!Yeeling, Vanny- your mighty brainwave to have that card with OWEN"S face in it. So nice! MING YING!RACHEL MA! ok and many more. thanks a lot.Yes i know that a lot of you 'owe' me presents haha, seeing that everyone is extremely busy with symphony of praise, national day and whatever events the school has. It's ok. I'm nice. haha But GF! I'M WAITING FOR YOURS! Lol...if you even read this. I know you've got a card for me already and waiting to give me with a prezzie. haha. Oh wells, birthdays are nice as long as you have friends with you and they remember it. Nothing else matters, including presents. Of course it's nice to receive them but that isnt the main issue in a birthday. I'm satisfied enough with what was given to me, the cards and greetings and handshakes and hugs. My mom called me while she was in metro "so what else do you want for your birthday other than the guitar?" I thought for a while and realise that I didnt want anything. As in I SERIOUSLY didnt want anything...of course i would like an adidas jacket yada yada, but it wasnt so important. It isnt a need, its just something, an item that i WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BUT WONT DIE IF I DONT HAVE IT kind of thing. get the idea? So i amazingly said "nothing. yeah nothing" (other than the pair of studs i was eyeing at centrepoint but its already waiting for me via my sis who is going to purchase them for me)So yeah. It has been a really special day with a longer chapel session as well because its the National Day thanksgiving service.Being Relevant was the message and it really touched my heart when the speaker, Pst Joseph Chean shared his experiences and heartfelt thoughts. There certainly is no other better time to talk about this than today =).Being relevant in this society isnt as easy as it sounds...but thats another post altogether.I'm 16 :)))
