Saturday, December 30, 2006 In the midst of scandals and hot gossip I'll have to remind some of my dear friend that its not what we're suppose to be doing. Though most of the time its inevitable but yet as christians I feel that still we have to make an effort to remember who we are in the Lord and that we're not to talk about other people behind their back. I myself have fallen prey to this evil habit but lets all remind each other when we converse to speak wholly and true and not succumb to the world's way. =))

It really is so easy to be drawn into the world, to soak up the enjoyment. As the saying goes "Eat! Drink! And let's be merry for tomorrow we die". But is that really what we are living for? Is the end of our adventures sealed once we die and leave this earth? I'm afraid not. Well you can approach it in 2 ways. You can either look forward to the real life you'll be living in heaven or dread your human death cause you know that you'll end up in hell once your spirit is set free from your body. I'm not trying to scare anyone here, but just stating a true fact that can no longer be evaded. How long are the people of this world going to run run run far away from the truth and drown themselves in the riches of this world?

It upsets me so knowing that so many dear friends will be lost if we do not reach out to them. Desperate times calls for desperate measures and I'll say that this time IS the end times. Forget about Y2K or rumours that sperad far and wide. Has the world not seen enough predictions from years ago come true this very age? Yet why are they so blinded and still refuse to follow the way? Indeed the beast is coming, and we know that the ONE card which we'll use to buy or sell is in the making. Are we, christians able to stand and fight against our human nature, that when the mark of the beast finally arrives would we be able to reject it and live totally for the Lord? Or are we just nominal christians?

I'll leave you to think about it as I have to go for lunch and a jamming session. =) Till then think hard of what you really want to live for. The joys or THIS WORLD or the joys of our ETERNAL world?

Wednesday, December 27, 2006 Sometimes life gets so complicated when all you want is just a little love. Ok maybe at this point in time i shouldnt even be using the word love seeing what has been happening and all. Yet as i said, life just gets really too complicated for your liking and it causes certain people to go loco or get a headache when they think of it.

I mean the mention of BGR or liking sends my thoughts reeling to a certain issue or should i say certain people.

and so i've been speaking to quite a few ppl abt this topic and yea of course all of us are really not ready to begin a relatioship i suppose thouh some of you may be older than me but you're still in your teens. haha. Enjoy your life as a single first before you'll be tied down with the responsibilities of being a good boyfriend or girlfriend.

I've lost the mood for blogging...




Sometimes i get so frustrated with my parents. rarrr. cant do this cant do that. cant go here, cant go there. send me somewhere far pls.

Saturday, December 23, 2006 im finally free to blog a post. but this wont be a long one either, seeing that im so tired after being in church since 10 till 9. The NZ trip was great! loads of pictures taken but im kinda lazy to upload right now. so wait for anoter post. as for an idea of what i did i definitely cant go thru every single day of the 11 days. But heres the brief outline:
day 1-4: Lake Taupo
shopping
Hot 'craters scouting' (where heat is given off from the ground geothermal energy)
Kiwi farm and trout "zoo"
LOTS OF DRIVING
Day 5-7: New Plymouth
MORE DRIVING
Visiting Parents' old friends
Visiting Felicia and Alyssa
Going for dinners and lunches and lazing in the beautiful garden that we had in the villa we were staying in
Day 8-11: Auckland
ermm...shopping shopping and...window shopping? yea thats about it. *sheepish grin*

And yes i did my christmas shopping there.

And so after i came back it was back to church every single day till today. Tiring but really worthwhile seeing that 60 over friends came for the event and they enjoyed it. Really got to work with a lot of people the past few days and without all of them it wouldnt have been pulled off.

so today was d-day came for early rehearsal, ate at coco, the whole grp crashed my house to play cards and finish off the christmas presents then moved back to church, everyone was starting to becom flustered, people were freaking ot once they couldnt find seomthing and everyone was still enjoying themselves hahaha.

it really is so cool for us to be actually singing our very own composed songs, like you know YAY! we're finally seeing signs of the project started early in the year. and YAY next year there's gonna be a FULL song concert! YAY! hahaha.

ok picture galore another time. As for now it's: GOOD JOB SF!

Friday, December 08, 2006 My oh my, I spoke on the phone yesterday for 2 1/2 hours without any break other than Norman's phone going crazy cause it ran out of battery. lol. I haven't spoken that long on a phone for more than a year! something that im amazed of. heh. Dont ask me what we talked about cause we talked about EVERYTHING.

Anyway the rehearsal's for the bands are coming along fine but for the acting thats a different story. STRESS. and im leaving tmr. DOUBLE STRESS. Matt will be the boss then till I get back and hopefully with his brains and my list of 'THINGS TO COMPLETE' he will be able to manage just fine. I have faith in you Matt. With perseverence and determination, you will succeed. LOL.

Wednesday, December 06, 2006 The horror of each month's visitor. It totally sucks no matter how sometime you celebrate the coming it of cause you dont want it to visit you during your holiday overseas. But still it tortures you endlessly the first few days it visits. Really torture. and i have to say i got it bad today. Went to eat dim sum with my cousins and instead of sitting in the resturant I was visiting the toilet 3/4 of the time. The pain was unbearable and i was shivering with cold while sweating at the same time. Ask my sis. It SUCKED.

The past few days I've been talking to some people about the topic that always either gets people interested or embarassed. BGR. Yea so we were picking out each guy in church older than us and filtered them all out. Sad to say that yea some people just cant make it. for me hahaha.I mean there are some people that i've ... but still its called dream. haha.So im being realistic about it and not really caring about these kind of things now at this age. Those reading this and are in that category dont take it personally. =D. and then those our age or younger by a bit, some of them can make it, only that, yea, they're same age or younger.

Well no matter how fun it is to always scrutinise the opposite sex around me yet I still have to keep in mind that it aint very nice. heh. Its like gossiping though you may not see it in that form. But it is.

Ok I suppose as some of us move up for secondary school to JC or poly we'll mee the unexpected. I quote from a friend "scary lei. I'm from boys school. Next year co-ed". Seeing that a group called single sex school people have either lived in their private territory for 4 years or 10 years including primary school it really can be very intimidating for us to burst into the tertiary scene where hoards of the opposite sex canbeen seen and HAS to be communicated with. Dont mistake it for being weak, but it really is just a whole...culture shock for us.

So girls/guy, when you go to JC next year, pls dont faint or do anything stupid. Just be yourself. That'll be enough.

On to a different topic, the sfers are busy preparing for the upcoming christmas concert and of course much laughter and joy has been added in the midst of the preparation. Auditions for the band members were cool, everybody just rotating their instruments and I managed to play a little though im not in the band since im already busy with the acting. Really nice to see the youngerones being so enthusiastic about joining in to help. Like alwin and seb for example. Many of the sfers their age are still trying to get use o sf but these two are ALL THE WAY! they take part in everything from drums to singing or just playing the piano and they're super enthu about all of it. Cheers for them! hahaha.

And of course through it all it has caused us to grow closer to each other and get to know each other much more than I have known them the last few years. I've really grown to know a lot more people better this year and getting closer to them, just hanging out when we're bored. usually its only with the same people but now im more open to others around me.

Monday, December 04, 2006 heeello everyone. if anyone out there has a job they can get me for a good rate please feel free to contact me or tag at my board. Ony that i can work after christmas is over cause i'll be overseas from the 9th to the 20th. Dont miss me then, but i know a lot of people will. Including gracia, denise, deb, matt, mark and more. awww dont cry. I'll think of you while im there. hahaha.

Yesterday was...lazy. After bs and lunch we went to gracia house to laze around waiting for the time to pass so that we could eat the oh-so-much-food- steamboat dinner. Denise and I fell asleep in Andrew's room and gracia kept walking in and out of the room. Yes Gracia I could hear you even though i was asleep. Anyway we were really bored until deb came. She helped to dye my hair and the rest just pulled up chairs to watch the live telecast of sam's hair dye procedure. and yes of course they took advantage of the poor sam, helpless and weak who could do nothing but wail in horror as they did a mohawk and whatnots with my hair. yes yes i know, tragic. Washed it off after 1/2 hour but to my HUGE disappointment the STUPID colour didnt show. like TOTALLY didnt show. As usual i kinda made a lot of fuss about it but nothing could be done. so girls dont buy hair colour 33. its useless plus wasting your money.

After that we waited patiently *at first* for the boys to come before we could start to eat. we told them 5 plus, they came 7 -_-. haha but all was forgotten in the TONS of food uncle lai soon and aunty lee shya got for us. and I mean TONS. Pan frying and steamboat together is the bomb. yea you get the idea.

Well went home not long after that, at 9 30, some of them stayed over. too bad for me my parents has this DO NOT HAVE SO MANY ACTIVITIES idea in their heads hence not allowing me to sleep over.

ok enough about yesterday.

I've got my iPod nano uploaded and charge so its all ready to be used, the script for the skit is finish only now we have to find willing actors and actresses and get the whole thing under control. Its gonna be a little difficult with so many of the committee going overseas but i'm sure the rest will manage it with God's help. =)) GO SFER'S!

Friday, December 01, 2006 Cambridge Dinner is over. Wasnt the best the I could have experienced due to unforeseen circumstances. Frankly its the worst thing that could happen before your "prom" day. Getting sick and vomitting 3 or 4 times in a day even though your stomach is empty hence forcing out weird yellow liquid which I presume is the acid thingy from my stomach cause it tastes horribly bitter. Your body is aching all over as if you've ran none stop for the whole day and yet you cant sleep at night.

You start contacting people, telling them to replace you for the Ms Cambridge Pageant and try to sleep to the next day. You wake up, feel perfectly all right as if you've never vomitted at all the day before, cant make it for the pageant get cause you already got somebody to do it and the powerpoint slides have ben change to their name and picture and whatever. Your mom gets over paranoid that you'll be cold there and insists that you bring a coat or jacket or something instead of just a scarve. You know shes worried but yet irritated that she cant let you take care of yourself.

You go for the dinner, the other rep for th class for ms Cambridge begs you to rep the class but you're not mentally prepared and anyway the slides have been changed. You feel terrible for forcing someone to take over your place but try to encourage her and stay positive throughout rooting for her till the end of the stupid competition. and lastly you have to go home before the whole thing ends cause your mom is here to pick you up though you insisted that you can make it home yourself as shes not feeling well. hence you miss out on the sch song and cheer and more of taking pictures.

You come home cant sleep on the com stay up till 1 plus shut it down go to bed but still cant sleep stay up all the way till 3 plus and get only 5 hours of sleep ause your body automatically wakes up at 10.

You get a really frustrated girl.
