In the midst of scandals and hot gossip I'll have to remind some of my dear friend that its not what we're suppose to be doing. Though most of the time its inevitable but yet as christians I feel that still we have to make an effort to remember who we are in the Lord and that we're not to talk about other people behind their back. I myself have fallen prey to this evil habit but lets all remind each other when we converse to speak wholly and true and not succumb to the world's way. =))
It really is so easy to be drawn into the world, to soak up the enjoyment. As the saying goes "Eat! Drink! And let's be merry for tomorrow we die". But is that really what we are living for? Is the end of our adventures sealed once we die and leave this earth? I'm afraid not. Well you can approach it in 2 ways. You can either look forward to the real life you'll be living in heaven or dread your human death cause you know that you'll end up in hell once your spirit is set free from your body. I'm not trying to scare anyone here, but just stating a true fact that can no longer be evaded. How long are the people of this world going to run run run far away from the truth and drown themselves in the riches of this world?
It upsets me so knowing that so many dear friends will be lost if we do not reach out to them. Desperate times calls for desperate measures and I'll say that this time IS the end times. Forget about Y2K or rumours that sperad far and wide. Has the world not seen enough predictions from years ago come true this very age? Yet why are they so blinded and still refuse to follow the way? Indeed the beast is coming, and we know that the ONE card which we'll use to buy or sell is in the making. Are we, christians able to stand and fight against our human nature, that when the mark of the beast finally arrives would we be able to reject it and live totally for the Lord? Or are we just nominal christians?
I'll leave you to think about it as I have to go for lunch and a jamming session. =) Till then think hard of what you really want to live for. The joys or THIS WORLD or the joys of our ETERNAL world?
