Nevermind about that. its more of the thought of no being able to meet up with my friends for the next 10 days. and Gracia is lamenting that she wont have anybody to complain to when im gone. Considering that she does call me every other day. haha. I shall try the snail mail way when im there. that is IF im able to get stamps and know where to post my letters.

I have a penchant for tennis right now. Rah. Not as if I can play it at the hotel since i wont have a tennis partner. Gym-ing and swimming...well at least i dont need a partner for that. Thank goodness. If not i think i'll probably explode from the lack of exercise.

Stomp the Yard is the new love. Watched the trailer and stuff. Im soo gonna catch it when i come back. So if anybody is nice enough to wait for me to watch. heh. If not its ok. Cause im pretty sure that all of you would have caught it by the time im home. But its perfectly fine since then i'll have the whole movie theatre to myself and then i'll have no qualms of making myself right at home in the cinema whilst revel(ing) in the show as well. haha.

Right some personal messages before I go:
Gracia: I know you're gonna miss me. haha. ok more like you'll miss calling me almost everyday to lament about how disgusting and shambly your school life is right now. So keep all your complains in a notebook and then vent your frustrations out on Andrew's guitar by just strumming it reall hard. I swear. it works.

Aileen: Stop stalling and hurry finish your essays for uni application! it only takes 5 minutes! haha. After that you wont have to live with that dread of knowing that an essay is waiting for you at home to be completed.

Mings: Go down to TP and leach yourself onto the person-in-charge of appeals or whatsoever until they give you HTM or LRM. It isnt a difficult tasks for you at all. Leaching that is. and bitching as well i guess...*shrugs*

Chua: Go running at maple even if its without me. And build up your stamina. Start with what you can. Which is 3 rounds. By the time i come back, i HOPE you can be a decent running partner. x))

Zoey, Ester: Dang you 2. No balling for 2 weeks for me. How great is that? Not great at all thank you. Ughhh. My hands are itching to shoot. Ester, school's starting. Dont get so stressed up. You can handle it. I know you can. Zoey, i know you're slacking. Find something worthwhile to do.haha.

As for the rest of you, dont miss me too much. But I know you will. so go ahead and miss me then. haha. it isnt a crime you know. *grins* cause i'll miss you all too.

Friday, March 16, 2007 ooook. Chiang Mai is reporting a Hazardous level of haze right now as you can see from all the newspaper reports being churned up everyday. Why does it have to happen when im going there in like 2 days time? *throws hands up i the air* obviously the Enemy doesnt want the whole plane carrying Christian people in Chiang Mai hence warfare is rather strong. So prayers everyone! Prayers does do wonders yea! And so im sure with prayer and petition the haze level will drop drastically by monday morning. Hooray for God! yayy.

Now now, im not going there for a holiday trip and neither is it on a mission. Its more of a retreat kind of thing, learning and putting into practic what they will be teaching us. So im sorry to disappoint you all but aint no shopping trips happening other than a night market tour for 1 night. I'll try to get everyone a little something but no promises. =). Not too keen on squeezing with foreign people in the humid, sticky, crowded areas. ughhh.

tennis yesterday went well, at Toa Payoh hub. though it was only 4 of us, Gracia, Jane, Des and I but we did manage to have a decent game once in a while. It did drizzle pretty heavily at one point in time but prayers changes everything and our awesome God answered our cries again but lightening it and he even got the sun to come out! It so happened that there was the auditions for Campus Superstar going on at the same time so whilst playing we could hear the good, the bad..and the ugly.

I've just checked my appeal status and they've accepted me into leisure and resort management. =DD. For that, they've just won over another soon to be loyal tp student. *beams* you cant imagine how happy i am now. Thanks to all who have been keeping me in prayer and trying to understand why i appealed to my 2nd choice even when they gave me my 1st. Heh.

Alright. I just realise that i seriously need to find more running partners Girlfriend running partners for that matter. I've been running with the guys, terence, matt, desmond, sam and as for girls...other than candice whos pretty busy with her portfolio, i did run with chua but she only ran 3 rounds. ha. so. any girls out there interested in being my jogging partner just leave me a tag =)) i'll be more than happy.

alright! outing with gracia and hui shi was great. Havent caught up with Hui shi in ages compared to the previous years where i'll go to her house pretty often. As for shopping with gracia..haha. We bought the same top again and trust me. it wasnt planned. I came out of the changing room saying 'i want to get...' and she held out the exact same shirt and completed my sentence 'this'. So we did try to coerce each other to get anoter shirt, but of course it didnt work. hahaha.

i'm tired from the running we did today. went all around kovan, past every single park possible, with the ups and downs, twists and turns. ugh. by the time i went for dinner my legs were starting to ache. ok sam, now i know why you refused to walk to heartland and insisted on taking 113. haha. Tennis-ing tomorrow.

Monday, March 12, 2007 ohh hoo hoo, its the march hols and i'll have my lil sister caught up in this little home with me for the rest of the week. Not that it'll be much of a problem and my brother is wooshing off to Beijing tonight, so i'll be seeing too much of my sister and none of my brother at all. Considering the fact that since he'll only be coming home on sunday night and i'll be flying off in the wee hours on monday morning. Yet I do realise that i've no plans whatsoever for the week other than meeting Hui Shi and Graciaa tomorrow night for dinner at Wheelock place. it seems like I almost always decide to go out at the very last minute.

Now lets see, what i've been up to the past few days. Friday night was spent getting lost while trying to find matt's house at 9pm. Seriously i've been there a few times and every time its a maze, always losing my way even when matt is with me. xD. and it only happens for his house. Then we went running up, around and about the private housing estate, past the japanese cemetry, past a teenage couple lying down on the playground floor at the mini park near his house, past barking dogs and speeding cars.

Saturday was the usual basketball, meet-my-hobby-friends day till 6 and then tramping down to church for the Popiah and Board games session. Not many people turned up for that event, less than 80 or so and the boys ended up playing bball which i could not join in since they insisted that it was dangerous, it being a contact sport. No problem then, i'll stick to playing taboo and UNO stacko.

The following day was slow moving due to the heat. Denise, Gracia and I were on the verge of melting as we made our way to my house to cool off. Met with Mark and Matt to settle the programme for i! concert, finished, packed up, watched Mark play Bad Day on the piano in the MPH only to find Gracia and Matt gone. I dont know what these 2 have up their sleeve but it sure aint smelling that funky. haha. Went back home and then disappeared again from the house to make my way to Suntec's IT fair. The place was packed to the brim, worse than sardines I should say, with people jostling all around and loud speakers blaring; but who can blame the customers for being overly excited? The deals were really worth the sweat, smell and inconvenience. Dinner-ed at burger king, walked at Marina Square window shopped a while, and then took the train home back too Serangoon. Give me our homely ah soo groupies anyday than walking the streets of town or where ever else that will be/are packed with strangers. I'm not saying that i dont enjoy town-ning, noo that wouldnt be me would it?, but its just who you are with and the people around you that makes a wholee lot of difference.

Friday, March 09, 2007 Its scary to see how much i can spend within a single hour when someone asks me to tag along on their shopping trip. So i went to queensway today with ester and ended up parting with $65 for a bag and basketball shorts while she spent much more when you take into consideration that she purchased my new basketball. How nice of her. Thankfully we bought our goods at Zoey's aunt's shop so we had plenty of discount. Well not exactly alot but considering that for each item she deducted off as much as 10 bucks, we did save a bit.

Other than shopping and wasting 1 hour to and fro Queenstown, i promised matt that i'll go running with him later tonight. ugh at 8 30. cause i didnt run with him on tuesday so i'll make it up to him today. It was running with desmond yesterday, matt today and basketball tomorrow with my girlfriends. I'm so proud of myself! haha. A healthy lifestyle i am leading. =D

I need to start planning the much needed rehearsals for i! concert and inform the SFers about their various roles in the concert. Thinking about the whole concert always gets my brain into a mess and it takes me ages to get it sorted out again. I need scores, lyrics, the booking of the auditorium, set up and instruments, everything to be sorted out soon enough. I hope. Half of my committee are extremely involved in their school activities currently what with Mark in SC, Matt busy playing hockey, Gervais whos forever busy but tries to do his part(which i really appreciate), it only leaves Andrew and I to do the planning. I sooo need to start planning proper as of now.

Right, bridging event tomorrow. It'll be the first publicity stunt for i! concert in video form and those who arent going...you'll be missing out on it =)) too bad. all the more you should go for it.

Thursday, March 08, 2007 things i want to do before the term starts (april 16):
1) go wayy up on the DHL balloon at bugis-150m high. if only they let me cut the wire
2) go to MacRitchie for its tree top walk
3) go to the zoo! its been ages since i went there.
4) have a date with the whole of ah soo clan where we go running to bishan again =))
5) play volleyball with someone who can hit the ball back to me and not let it drop on the floor...
6) get my fringe cut. but which salon will only cut my fringe and let me pay 5 bucks?
7) sell my classical guitar and get an acoustic one from Zion
8) restring my rusty electric guitar strings x]
9) have a successful outing to sentosa without any MAJOR weather changes and falls on the stone floor. the last trip let me with a big, blue bruise. not a nice souvenir to bring home
10) finish watching all 16 episodes of Prison Break season 2 so that i wont be busy swooning over Wentworth Miller and get distracted once school starts
11) have either lunch, high tea or dinner at Equinox on the 69 level of Swissotel. Its more of the view I want to take in. Not the food.

ok so yea thats what i hope i'll be able to do before 16 of april comes. I'm far too free right now wasting away my time which is a dastard act. I could be jailed for being too free. Dont want to risk it.

Wednesday, March 07, 2007 Some questions that were asked at the beginning of the week has left me very puzzled as to why these questions were asked. No concrete answers have been found yet but i suppose none will be given. Its only a matter of observation which I myself have been lacking in when I thought that i was always a keen observer of people. yet when things happen to me im totally oblivious till some kind soul informs me about it.

The year has indeed started out on a very exciting note i should say, though not all surprises were pleseant nor easy to deal with. Seems that the Lord has planned much more excitements that are to come yet i wont say that im looking forward to All of it.

But most of all no matter what happenings occur im really grateful to the Lord for providing me with such a great bunch of friends in church and outside. Friends that i can *ahem* confide in and people that i can just place my trust.

Tuesday, March 06, 2007 Yesterday's Basketball shooting session with candice was fun though it was only the 2 of us. I mean what with having the entire court to ourselves and with nobody looking at us, we did some cool stuff. Meant only for our eyes. haha. After that we headed down to the community cntre to check out some courses only to find the centre close. I dont know how we did it but we managed to shock a poor ahma with our antics that left her speechless. Ok maybe not Our antics. More like Candice's. xD

Today was more of a chill out session with Gracia during lunch at Lido and with Aileen later in the day at Wisma's Starbucks. I guess lots of things have been happening that I was not aware of until now at which left me rather upset. Other than mere girl talk it was a good meet up, getting to know more info that has got me worrying over certain people close to me.

Other than talking we did do quite a lot of shopping. Far east has improved tremendously and each of us bought at least 1 thing there. Well... gracia didnt exactly buy 1. haha. She couldnt control the use of her card. tsk.

and to think that all of you were playing a game. and the pawn was me yet i didnt realise. please. it isnt a joke at all. neither is it fun. making use of me to have your own entertainment when i was treating you all like my brothers. im disgusted. seriously. i really am. stop playing with me.you dont know how much youve cheated me of the friendship that i thought was real.all of you.

Monday, March 05, 2007 Ok so im 2 days late in posting about liverpool's sad lost to manchester united in the saturday match. The goal was a total fluke in the extra time. 90+1' min. I went to watch it at Gervais's house and Aunty Callie was so funny. 'Sam why you so quiet?' 'Cause its not the right time to shout? dont worry i'll shout when its time' 'ok dont be shy ah. can make a lot of noise. just make' LOL. So when O'Shea scored that goal all Gervais and I could do was moan and groan and tried stopping the ball by shouting "NO! NO! NO!". Darn them.

Anyway back to the goal. It was pure luck when O'Shea was standing there and the ball landed right in front of him when the goalie tried saving it. I mean i doubt he would be scoring again anytime soon. Have to wait till the next season to see another goal from him. *smiles* Further more Man U did not deserve that 1-0 win considering that they played poorly cause it was soo obvious that they were playing for a draw whilst Liverpool was the team that was desperately trying to stave off Man U from being a match closer to the EPL title. Their attack was strong with 12+ shots while Man U only had 2+ attempts made at the goal. Obviously Liverpool deserved to have that goal instead.

Plus the fact that Scholes got a red card for trying to beat up an innocent player..Booo to Man U. You wont win the rest of your games. Bah.

And i wonder why but the next day when i went to church I seem to be the centre of suaning by the rest of the SFers who followed the match. Am i like the only Liverpool supporter in SF? A tad too dangerous.

Sunday, March 04, 2007 Candice you have to enlighten me a little bitty more about nata de coco,mee siam laska and salmon. and then i'll be the one explaining each dish to you. =) Basically Skippy doesnt go well with any of these food.

Went to watch Letters from Iwo Jima with Desmond, Sam and Norman. The show was worth the money indeed though at certain points I couldnt bear to see them kill themselves. youch. But its much more worth the time at the movies compared to watching chick flicks like Norbit and Dream girls which I STILL want to watch though. haha. And i have 2 free tickets to Dreamgirls at any Shaw cinema so anyone wants to go?

once again im free for the next coming week but i'll be down at the park or pool if it isnt raining except for tuesday cause i'll be meeting Gracia for our almost weekly outing. beams

Friday, March 02, 2007 Booo the weather has ben horrbily nasty these past few days including today. The tanning session at sentosa was a complete failure because of the ominous black clouds that were threatening to open up their heavens any time. So it started pouring and pouring and we gave up any hope that we had of waitig for Mr. Sun to come out so took the tram back to Palawan Beach. Half way at one of the stops this guy caught my eye. White boardshorts and fooling around in the rain. So i was saring at him then in turn he started staring at me. So we had this staring competition, both squinting our eyes and looking at each other from different angles until i went, "DESMOND!" hahaha. then the staring squinting game stopped. Sigh. Singapore is far too small.

Rightt..other than worship pactice tomorrow at 9 I have nothing on my agenda for the rest of the week. Whao whee sam. You've soo got a life. POstings will be out on the 6th of march and then most of my peers would be too busy in JC to entertain me Oh just remembered. I have Candice and Desmond! hahaha. and they both live near me. ahhhh. That means evening runs, basketball, soccer and cycling!

right. Im tired of staring into the computer. Go find something better to do other than reading my posts which has no content at all. Ugh. im pretty disgusted with my posts in fact. If only i had GP or debate. That would be the <3. hahaha.
