It starts from my toes, and I wrinkle my nose

Sunday, April 01, 2007 Alright. I'm just about half alive right now but I must say, its been a pretty long time since i've blogge a decent post dont you think? So being the ever so nice me, i'll do it just for your sake. yes you who's reading it.

Most of you have been asking me about the 'retreat' that I had in Chiang Mai a few days back. Well i'm definitely not up for typing down every single minute detail about what, when, who, where so its just a rough sketch. Anyting else just ask me out for a cuppa and we'll chill. Then you can ask me anything about it. All I do have to say right now is that the classes were totally spirit taught, nothing that my mind was unable to receive because I wasnt thinking and using my brain to be frank. I was using my spirit. Though for 1 day I had this terrible heaviness on y head, as if somebody or something extremely heavy was sitting on it and I couldnt receive the teachings. But after prayer and a little ministry it did go away. Praise God for that. =)

23 lessons in total, each lasting 1 1/2 hours, morning and evenings. Afternoons were spent i group work, ministering to one another and healing wounds. Initially I had no idea what i was up for, i.e i didnt exactly know that this 10 day international school was a counsellor scool, equipping you to be a counsellor. So now i'm certified that i've complated Ellel's(Singapore) 10 day international school standard track and i've learnt how to help people. isnt that great. haha. in fact it's really so exciting to know what God has in plan for us all in the near future.

Oh and if you were wondering how come its called Ellel's(singapore) yet International school, well its because its organised by the Ellel Singapore team but people from 14 countries to be exact were attending the school. People from Taiwan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Philippines, USA, China, India and quite a number of missionaries from various places as well. My my, when i heard one of my group mate's who is an American but works in Taiwan speak in Chinese, she left me gawking at her fluency and vocabulary. haha. Compared to my B4, she's an A1.

I was expecting myself to be the youngest there in the school admist a sea of aunties, uncles, grandpas and grandmas so I was surprise to see a girl younger than me in the plane and shes only 15. Meaning she skipped school to come for this. Further more she was attending the advance track. Whoa. Apart from her there was a 22 yr old guy who just ORD from NS as a musician. NS guys, you sould haave heard about his life in ns. Its seriously a 2 year holiday for them, those in the PA, drama and music side. He spent the entire bus ride(1hr15mins) to the night market telling me about their crazy antics and how they can do anything they want to and not exactly get into trouble. That includes keeping a mohawk and setting up a lan-ing system in the entire block. So it was the 3 of us plus 2 siblings who just came because their mom was in the planning committee.

10 days literally away from the worries and banes of the harsh reality. Away from gossiping, wagging tongues, away from the thoughts of the impending poly, new school new environment, away from questioning faces and words.

But sigh. yes I know we all have to revert back to planet earth sooner or later but i do wish it was a tad later. Never mind. Face it i shall.

stagnant it will remain and now it seems as if i've lost my ability to talk,and to keep all of us as it used to be.
