I got an insult during my orientation last week by one of the GLs. Though she didnt meant it to be an insult but still...she said that i looked like a convent girl. My pride went up a thousand notches. "I'm not a convent girl! im a methodist girl! a pure methodist!" "You still look like a convent girl" No way man. please. Telling me that I look like im from IJ is worse than telling me im fugly. haha. When I told my mom, her reply could have left her dead if not for me being her good, obedient, loving daughter. "Convent girl huh. must be luh with your bitchy and dao(loafty) look always" hurrhurr. like mother like daughter dont they say? *winks* and my mom was from CJ. go figure.
Phantom of the opera this coming saturday. squeals. finally. after months of waiting. after hearing all the 'its good!', 'brilliant!', 'their pointes were so beautiful!' i cant wait to watch it. a final treat befor school officially starts for another 3 years again.
joyce finally met up with deb and i for sharing and prayer yesterday. just realise that i havent met her for an uber long time, weeks before i left for thailand in fact. So shared with them a little of what i learnt and they were so enthusiastic about going for some of these classes when they have the time.
Really, the lessons ive learnt has helped me so much in my understanding of what the Lod has in stored for us and what we can do with our authority in Christ our Lord. especially in the physical healing part, where just by faith, faith in the Lord that is, we're all able to be free of sicknesses. And im not referring to the major illnesses but when i feel a cold coming or i have a really bad sore throat, i just command it to go away in jesus name and it really does go by the hour. Not once but up till now, always. Its amazing huh, how the little promises God has given us, that as long as we ask by FAITH, He'll give it to us as long as it brings honour to his name. Hooray for our awesome God.
Theres so much more to our Lord than what meets the eye. So much more. Living a life for him is exciting as it gets.

For memory's sake.
