Tuesday, September 25, 2007 changi-pasir ris-ubin-changi.
riding the waves was awesome. fighting the current was terrible. getting shouted at every 10 mins was the pits.
i couldnt sleep last night
tiring? you ask. Yes. Fun? Definitely. A test of endurance? Totally.
I brought home with me a handfull of blisters ready to burst any minute and aching shoulders.
But i also brought home determination, encouragement and a whole load of shouting from coach today. Not directly at me but as a team.
sometimes i think that i think too much for my own good
crossing the channel was scary. It was as if we were paddling with everything we had but never ever getting closer to the beacon. Big ships were passing us every 15 mins or so and we risked getting squashed by them. Thank God that his hand was with us and protected us all the way.
as i told dear neighbour,getting your hopes up will only cause it to come crashing down even harder
singing Hail Jesus you're my King in my head helped. Victory chant :). having water was the best thing anyone could ask for. And bringing mooncakes on the trip was the craziest idea ever. plus peanut butter bread. haha. Oh the little things that my team mates do really helps in the worst of times.
So why am i getting my hopes up as well?i've blocked your friend from my heart. now its you.
and so, i wont be going for the round ubin competition. I admit, im not ready. fact is, i'd rather stick to flat water racing. theres always next year. :) I know i can do it. Its just a matter of when the results show, now or a year later.

people are happy happy today for funny reasons. its funny, but im happy that they're happy. :D
crys is happy cos she finally got her havianas
steph and sarah are happy cos they get to be bimbos
im happy simply having our usual late lunch together as a team at cafe cartel. 'its like the last supper' as Damien commented. 12 of us. haha. 12 disciples. coolios.

we trained for 40 mins today but had a lecture debrief for 2 hours. standing. we are power people. we can stand for 2 hours.

monkeys came and raided our bags for food while we were in the water. tired and hungry all we could do was stare at them, sitting on the roof while they taunted us by licking the chocolate cream off the biscuits. throwing stones at them did no good because they remained steadfast in their mission of torturing us.Stupid monkeys tore my plastic bag, stole stephs biscuits and stole the team's sunblock. Sunblock? they wanna remain fair.

i had the honour of getting the boat with ants nest inside again. looking at it makes my hair stand. Lizards, im fine. But not ants nest. *Shudders*

Daddy got for me my GNC bottle. yay. Mummy bought for me a white cap. yay. Terence has lent me his SP card so that i can get 20% off Havianas. yay.

Changi-Ubin paddling tmr. Oh Lord help me. Im not scared of the distance. Im scared of the current. Dont pull me back.

I stumbled upon this book(yesterday) that was probably hidden in the bookshelf for half its life. Without any reason i started reading it and have yet to put it down. Its funny that im hooked onto a non-fiction book. Pardon me, let me explain. You have to understand that i am given plenty of books to read from various people like uncles and aunties and moms and dads who hope that whatever christian book theyve given me would be read and applicable to my life. Currently my bookshelf has a few prayer books, for what reason? Only God knows. I've never been successful in completing any of them and none of them has ever caught my interest totally.

I kissed dating goodbye was the only book that ive finished, and so right now Being a girl who loves seems like the second potential book.

I wonder why, but this year it seems that the Lord is teaching me how to love. *hmmm* What is it Lord? Even BS with Joyce is about love. My own personal reading is on love. Further more, past posts were:

Friday, September 21, 2007 hello you again. Ive been so busy this week with work that ive lost track of what day it is. I only know that ive earned half of my salary at kumon in 2 days at the SAS forum in Suntec on thurs and wed.

dumdum. my brain is like currently on sleep mode cause its 12 46pm in the afternoon. I have work again at 4 later till 9 with the little terrors and cutie pies alllll the way at tampines. I have worship service this week and i didnt know because my leader is Marcus(durh). thank God for reminding me to check the schedule. I have the script to pen out for SPA which is DUE sunday and ive not started on anything. I have my on mind to settle and time needed to just talk to God and say sorry for being overly busy with life. even though at times im like a slug at home, just wobbling here and there, refusing to iron my siblings clothes and whining at every sngle thing, it slips my mind to spend time with the Lord and yea, i got to do it soon. cos i miss Him.

I finally can say that ive queued for Donut Factory donuts. Cause JM neighbour made me queue with him. -.-. 45 mins. -.-. You wont catch me wasting that amount of time again. hahaha. but they were nice. yummy donuts. mmmhmmm.

ok. i like gotta go and exercise. For every day that i have not been exercising, i feel like a potato.

woke up at 5am today, taxied to harbourfront at 5 45
terry foxed at Sentosa till 9 45,
rushed down to church at 11 to ask joyce for some advice.
12 45pm off i go to Esplanade for Swan Lake on Ice which lasted from 2-4 30.

and im still very sleepy. *heavy eyelids*big yawnnn

well at least i got to see Joseph today. hehe. adorable little boy.

Thursday, September 13, 2007 it seems that only when im paddling and running that i can forget and not feel guilty. other than that i keep on worrying and fretting and scolding myself. *heaves bigsigh*

my butt is sore. so is my head. from all that thinking.

i had a nightmare last night. Ok. maybe a nightmare cause i know it wont happen so its terrifying. if it did/could/would happen on the other hand...thats different. it wont be a nightmare.

down with a cold and cramps since yesterday but went for training. Ended up feeling extra cold and shivery and cold. But i promised jac tht i'll bring her to watch rattatoullie plus the fact that we've booked the tickets so yea. But after that i felt totally freezing so, skipped dinner and cabbed home. Jumped into the shower, changed and slept thru the evening, night and morning with a hot waterbottle in my bed. lol. yeah. 16 hours of sleep. blissful sleep.

i still have a stuffy nose and a woozy head but all things better. at least im not shivering with cold.

There isnt anything else worth watching. Tribal dance or what nots. Ballet's still the best. :)
