oh boo hoo you blasting report. _____________________________________________________________________ I need some time off by myself to think and reflect. Nahh not emoing. I aint no emo yo. ohhh. all ends with O. ahh well, my classmates believe that they're have an extremely stupid group member who will pack ice cubes into a bottle and hug it when its winter. For my report grades' sake, I will bear with them for another semester and let them think all they want. Boys. Sometimes i wonder what goes thru their head. Oh wait. Maybe nothing goes thru cause...they dont exactly have brains. Shrugs. Friday, December 28, 2007
Oh yes and the Christmas Bench as well. Though i didnt manage to catch the whole programme but i must say, the drama was extremely well done. Compared to the past rehearsals...haha its improved a hundred times over. Dinner wasnt too bad either though what i had on my plate wasnt exactly satisfying. The rements of turkey, ham and...well nothing more. Heading down to Orchard to catch the lights was cool. Pretty lights and deco and the whole outing group was fantabulous as well. The guys were all high on ham and turkey and they could not stop singing christmas carols all thru the town(pun intended). Stayover at Gracia's. I didnt realise that time passes so fast when you're coped up in a small room talking to your girlfriend and its 3 am when the last time you checked it was only 12 30am. After 4 packets of Korean instant noodles, 2 1/2 pizzas where 1 pizza turned into a blackened piece of nothingness and potato chips, everyone felt the tiredness of- washing the void deck floors bare footed, putting up deco, serving food and walking and walking and taking photos throughout the night. The guys crashed in the living room, like a mess of rubbish piled high in the dump. Smelly creatures some of them...tsk. The girls, all smelling nice and clean resided in a cosy room above the snoring pile. On mattresses and in the company of the humming aircon. I must say, deciding on lunch the next day was the most difficult decision ive made in my entire life. Only after visiting each and every food outlet did we decide on the ultimate-McDonalds. Laugh all you want, but Mc's is such a blessing in disguise. :) Right. So back to reality now. Bhutto is dead, the tsunami anniversary is over and marketing report is a knock knock knocking on my door. Apart from the good news that i do not have to carry my canoe over sand for a 120m and run with it in the 27th jan marathon, nothing else seems bright. Im not being a wet blanket, just thinking about whats up for me for the next month. or should i say New Year? The shops are making full use of the festive season to make us splurge on worthless items. SALES. such a beautiful word, yet why is it a nightmare? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Monday, December 24, 2007

School's out! F&B wasn't as bad as all of us thought it to be. I knew what nut it was, the cuts of the fish, steak and lamb and all the plentiful other veggies and fruits that we had to know. My dear classmate was being an idiot when he took his paper: Name 2 kinds of fats. Solid and Liquid (rightfully its saturated and unsaturated) Give 2 examples of each kind of fats. Solid: Butter and .... the girl sitting next to me. Name the fruit (picture shown): Jackfruit (it was an Avocado) I have a feeling that the teacher would be only too please to give him a big zero. Shopping with Gracia yesterday was a blast. Well it really was since i had moooney to spend. Bought a GAP workblouse and a French Connection shirt. :D and i still have money leftover for more shopping! Gracia was whining on and on about a certain dress she tried on which fitted her beautifully but didn't exactly fit her purse. Oh well, too bad she doesn't work. By the time she saves up for it she'll be 50 and the dress will be out of fashion. hahaha. I'm packed next week. What with meeting up with Aunty meeyan on wed, outing with SFers on thurs, Christmas dinner at Shangri-la on fri, Ben's choir concert on sat and SF Christmas service on sun followed by a sleepover and not to forget trainings in the late mornings its a wonder that i'll have any quiet time for myself. But I'd rather be caught up in all the action then bumming around at home. :) Dad's back from Atlanta and he bought something for his god-daughter and nothing for his dear children. hahaha. But him being back is better than anything else. Christmas shopping! I've yet to start! Help! Speedy christmas shopping soon soon. Goodness. Such a rush. Blame it on school. Shakes Head. and I realise that i'll have to give my friends their presents next Sunday instead of Christmas day cause we don't have church service! Gah. Even crazier. ___________________________________________________________________ The retreat is finally over. Praise be to God for His mercy over us. We've made it through even with our own horrible schedules, but with His help the committee has completed our responsibility. My only hope is that now, the SFers will take home with them for a very long time the lessons we have tried to bring across to them. Be it being sacrificial like Jesus, witnessing with excitement to our friends or praying with a true heart, i want them to remember all these and not just the fun games and activities. The lessons, the most important things are usually forgotten so easily. Lots of thanks to Jacob and Moses for helping us out again and again, opening up their house and shop respectively for us to meet up and discuss, refine, define and refine again our proposal our plans the timetable and what nots. Without their help as well...oh boy it wouldn't have been possible. And the team. Jon, Norman, Justin, Samuel, Danny and ZHIYUN! My fellow feminine element in the team. Thank you all for taking time to serve the SF. I haven't been the best of feminine elements i should say, missing some meetings and not making it full time yet working with you guys have been a blast. Meeting up at Grapevine, staying back in church, discussing again and again. Getting our theme specials rejected a thousand times before settling on the final one just right before the camp. My my, it has been a crazy time. I've gotten to know you all better that for sure and I thank God for brothers like you all. :D and SISTERS. haha I'm gonna miss the whole lot of you next year. :) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tuesday, December 04, 2007
Hello, I have no idea what my marketing teacher was saying just now. All i know is that im not in the top 10 of the cohort. Smelly Kiang Ang and Seng Yong get to ride the Singapore Flyer before it officially opens because they're top 10 :D how cool is that. Its top 10 not top 10%. Thats what you get for working hard, so i shall work harder. Sunday, December 02, 2007
im finally sick. Crashed: puffy eyes, running nose. Congratulations Sam. french test, public speaking speech, comm skills interview, marketing analysis, sf retreat this week and you fell sick. What were you thinking? I feel like giving up. Sometimes I study myself and think...am I really Sam in front of everyone? Jackie said that i'm a fake.
