I guess that sums it up. Frankly, I dont feel any extreme happiness and satisfaction. Instead I feel as if I dont deserve it. The guys have trained so hard yet they didnt get anything. and I got mine because...there were lesser participants in my category. It wasnt a fair win.
Coach was the best thing during the entire trip round ubin. Not once did he shout at me which was a miracle. Just pushing me on and on and on. Two words that kept me moving "keep going, keep going, keep going" Just how many participants had the privilege of having their coach draft them side by side, guide them away from currents, warn them about side waves and wait for them when they capsize? and he could have chosen to help Damien instead. Thats why I feel over privileged and undeserving.
