I did my rowing, I'm almost done with STB's project and I'm...full. So I'm satisfied now. Thank You God. _____________________________________________________________________ Enough about him already. Its not helping and it never will. Guess I'll just live my life the way it is now, taking everything and everyone in and just watching people as the days goes by. Work's been usual i suppose...well you cant really consider it really normal and usual taking into consideration that I meet different people every single day so it cant possibly be usual...*ramble ramble ramble* at least there's Bryan to talk to and accompany me on certain days. In a month's time we'll be swopping over to the airport which I kinda dread cause of the stories I've been hearing about it. The boring hours, the waking ups and closing shifts. oh the horror. and no friendly old tourists to ask me where to buy fine china tea cups from Versace or American Navy men asking me to help them find a store that sells barometres. I'm gonna miss those. Its really funny at times when you get such requests from tourists but even so you go all out to TRY and find it for them. i spent a good 1/1 an hour on the internet and phone calling various stores and companies for that tea cup lady. Sadly there isnt any store selling them in Singapore. Of course working here does allow me to see the uglier side of Singaporeans that runs businesses. Especially those at lucky plaza. They cheat these people of their money in the Thousands mind you. I wonder how come they are so willing to part with 3000 bucks for a Sanyo Digi cam even. Tsk. Anyhoos I kinda miss school. I miss the slacking at (k)orners of the library and canteen waiting for class to start. I miss the teasing and endless laughter everyday. I miss the Sentosa campus with the sun, basketball and soccer games and chasing peacocks who shit around and everywhere. of course the beach volleyball afternoons with tutors and tanning/studying sessions when we have 6 hours between class and tests. Ohhhh I want them all back! Even the projects. The countless projects is what brings us together throughout the night without sleep with all the redbull and our trusty laptops never failing us(yea right). Its those times that when you look back, it made us smarter, stronger and more mature in handling things and thinking twice before making a decision. Poly's been awesome in grooming all of us into young adults who are independent and not feed off textbooks and mug our hearts out. That only kinda happens twice a year for 1 week each and its pretty much sufficient to make us moan and groan. We'd rather have projects and presentations. That's what make a Temasek Poly Business student. Dress well, speak well, work well. I doubt that we have to worry about getting jobs next year after we graduate. Of course starting up Ong and Sam beach bar will be after earning some cold hard cash and then moving up to greener pastures for our bar and sports centre. ahahaha. Ong wants it in Florida and I want it in the Bahamas or Hawaii. So LRM-ers! Lets finish up the next 3 months of our internship well and good and get the hell out of our companies! For most of us that is. I know that U.S. people are having a awesome good blasting time at Florida. We're finally Year 3 seniors!
